The character here, having let go of his old possessions, is now homeless. Witnessing the wild world of his fellow blinded contemporaries, who have all been driven totally insane by their ghosts and regrets. Nevertheless, the character, finding itself in this melting pot of misery and madness is driven to understand that the reflection of self in the the environment is not the only truth, for environments are tempermental. Hence the realization that in order for the total recognition of self and environment to become available, a self must be created and thus the focal point of the song is to create onself from oneself. Hence developing the knowledge to change the situation one occupies into the destination one must occupy is declared by the character and thus a certain sort of path is prepared.
Could not even see
who I wanted to be
Could not even see
who I wanted to be
Could not even see
who I wanted to be
Could not even see
who I wanted to be
Could not even see
who I wanted to be
But you better believe
I'm gonna get it some how.
