MADMENS CALLING: pOetRy

THE MADMEN

Jivatma Sings (We'll Pull You Through Time)

Welcome into our zone,
Now we’ll never leave you alone,
This world’s a world our own,
No matter what we’re gonna bring you home...
In fact we’ll pull you through time...
We’ll pull you through time.

Now everybody wanna be infinite,
As if we ain’t already permanent,
Now steady your mind,
To adapt to the fact that the ultimate trap is time,
So it’s only relevant when applied,
To the regeneration of generations; tribe after tribe, Scribe after scribe,
Always telling the same tale,
About how their reign failed,
And how ancients always meld,
With the present presences,
'Cause ain’t no difference only resistances,
So we must provoke and invoke persistence in,
the application of death,
You know that never ending suspending in the left hand of God.
The diasporic Aghoric metaphoric band of odd,
Clan of awe,
Span the gland saw,
glimpsed, lent lightly, slightly transparent,
Transplant transmutate
Then initiate cosmic...
Though many interfere, shift gears,
'Cause which year was it, that we disappeared
I still flicker from it…
Standing, in the chasm,
While others stay obsessed with orgasms,
I confess the depths of this spasm,
Which only hits like a gift slash glitch,
To twist into the infinite...
So every tomorrow is borrowed,
for only physical impermanence is permanent...
Now dig what Aunt Gail told me when she went,
After the veil spent time deteriorating,
In the waiting room,
We consumed concentrating,
Her husband meditating,
Me and pops anticipating the worst,
Ain’t no escaping the hearse,
First, the body then the mind,
for every soul thirst,
For that only freedom,
And you’ll know me as no lie if you try to see them,
And this is why I,
Only allow myself to reveal the seal to those who love the insane,
For we know they refuse to be healed,
Now dig,
my participation in emancipation,
As the cure in itself,
for the addiction to transformation,
And the cultivation of…
True salvation.

Welcome inot our zone,
Now we'll never leave you 'lone,
This world's a world our own,
No matter what we're gonna bring you home....
Infact we'll pull you through time,
Infact we'll pull you through time.

THE MADMEN - JIVATMA SINGS OF from forthcoming album, THE ROSELINE (Nov 11, 2007)
IN THE SMASHAN:

Big Mamma and Granny
Aunt Nay, Aunt Doris and the rest of my family
All cooking, looking like lords
I never asked what for
I just ate what they’d create, then ask for more
See, we went from laughing and playing spades
To lowering them into graves
But by then the link had been made
So their essence could never ever fade
In fact, that essence done raised me back
Into the black and it made me go hunting and stalking
So one night away from all light I started talking
With a gate keeper
Said it knew them…
Relayed their hands and glance
Said I could see them again if I gave him a chance
The conversation advanced
Told me of rituals that would make me abandon my physical
Then take me into the spiritual arena
I did it and hit it swimming on and in whisky
I saw big mamma and them laughing, basking in the glow
I went to hug them and they wouldn’t let go
And I ain’t want them to
Told me, “Ain’t but one way, all you assumed is true,
But you ain’t need to bleed to feed, we always commune with you”
Then we got to dancing, and eating keeping nothing to itself
I told them I don’t ever want to leave
They said, “Can’t you see, what you believe you received,
is that we can’t leave.” But I ain’t hear that right,
So lost in a sea of whisky and rum, on an odyssey I took flight
Car recks, hangovers and the face of death seen,
I got trapped in the path often seen
Strung out and loosing faith,
Seeing death as my only escape
Still begging for entry, giving offerings when off in that zone of a mystery,
Until finally, after many black-outs my lady lashed out
Possessed by the spirits of her and my ancestry
To let me know that, that which I picked as mystery
Is simply the trickster, its most vital alchemy is liquor
Took time to find such relevance in my mind
Having been obsessed depressed and blind

Confined to a blur of the slur
Noticing this imagery as a snake I put it all at stake,
Knew I hade to break or be broken, left slow in the face of the battle
Right then, I was tackled
By the grief of defeat, Seeing that all I believed was imaginary
Finally sober I fell over
Screaming for deliverance
That’s when all from which I descended appeared and granted me ascendance
If and only, if I share my gifts
“The word and the music use it, to uplift
But don’t stop there, your whole life must reflect the light from right here.”
So crying and about to bust
I hollered grant me the strength
They say, “The strength is in us and so in you. Trust in the line
All who oppose shall be crushed to decompose with and in due time
And any problems you may face
Just show your face
For your face is mine
And such is the law in the line of the divine
And when ever you’re lost and can barely pay the cost
we’ll pull you through time.”

Thus Danced Zarathustra:

Way down from
the mountain comes
the man and all his ways
Unconfused he brings the news
About the end of days

Give me your hands all over
One by one
I present thee with the fire for we require
Thou kingdom done
So watch wonderful woes interpose themselves
Into the sum of leaves on trees that breathe as one
And hide hell and smiles of affability
To naïve to receive the keys to ubiquity
Yet to every soul an instrument baring the sent of alchemy
As souls compose symphonies
In this lived opera, I, witch doctor
so I switch off the
Desires and admire the aims of old,
behold the aims of the ancients
Written on the sacred Scrolls, So when in council, the state of man as to a little kingdom
Suffers the nature of insurrection.

And this will never fail
Give the blind some time and find the whole world’s in brail
I mean, even a fish got scales
So put a nail in that tale
To tell of the whales fulfillment
In the reservoir that waits for
The observant
The starved and the dehydrated
The sacrificial, anti-superficial amalgamated
Few who view the two and perceive the fifth
Collecting introspection in that intersection we twist
While coming to grips with trips
Off of the deep end, Never finding us week cuz every moment our week ends
Now let us seep into the sufferance of the souls abuse
If these be the motives for the weak it’s no use
Now every man hence to his idle bed
And let high sided tyranny range on ‘till each man drops dead, by lottery.
But if these as I am sure they do
Bare fire enough to kindle cowards and instill with valor the melting spirits
Then let us indulge in God’s matters fearless

Echoing Apollonius

Down by the river I get cleaned
With the other sinners we find what god means
If you choose to venture into our scene
Have no preconceptions the weapon is the dream

Give us this place alone
And we will hear the divinity
For I am but a madman driven to insanity
By a world drenched in dualities
But your Excellency
I had no choice
I speak on behalf of the wrath of those with no voice…So that we may proceed
Despite the greed of your need to feed
From our flesh, honestly I detest your breed
Thus I must admit, I have not your cares,
for the shoe that fits I wear
And thus bare the brand of… the artist
So sick yet so sardonic
A drunken fool often struck by harden tools
Weaving the thread of life
Needle to spool, Exactly!
To the point I’ll take a demon to school
and extract the rules of the cruel
Detach me.

And, what other oath than honesty
Please promise me this: and if even the moon doth forget to pull the earth’s seas
Like earth you’ll never desert these seeds
So speak and lead
While welcoming wrongs
And speaking in songs with
Merits to redeem
So they shall always receive
And if but half of a half of a half of the smallest particle of me be Not heeded,
You shall set free twist of agony and seas with
Blood set to boil as snakes do coil in the soil for
Refuge, from you who misuse and refuse
The bite of the struggle from those who do love you, we gave you this life
so you may give on the light
To those in need
See, the food in you we gave to feed
So heed not the deeds
With destructive aspirations
To think our cause deserves applauds
A oath from monk to monk
In God’s blood we soak in adulations.

Ancestral Portraits

Please, consider me an astral physicist
Psychotic, neurotic, spiritual specialist
Who demonstrates and cultivates what illuminates alchemist.
Thus, defying those who stare yet never see
Implying droves to care share and let be
Hence whatever frightens me eventually enlightens me
So whole heartedly I beg of thee
Confuse me not
With this current clutch of mediocrity
For I come to shift the sum of such atrocities
And so as for hypocrisies piracy
Dirt regains us all, whether we go in a brawl or
live our lives off the wall
Once we move on,
leaving such shells to fall upon receiving the
jolt of the occult we step strong into
The Land Of The Gone
And plant plots that plant seeds for all forest from now on.

Elo Se, Elo Was-a-way

After attaining the mountain
And bathing in the fountain
One must, discuss doubts in the event of
returning to the land when scouting Followers
of the tomorrow-ers who are but the borrowers
Of the now and so demand we speak
on the strength and the length of our reach
Thus may our actions teach and seek of the times to come, for the heart is but a drum
So then from such rhythms we come
And branch as ideas breed, mind read if necessary
Throw that astral body into the primal library
Just carry back information
To give, when they live and offer libations
When chasing us as we chase them
Stop then and let us collide
play Gods, play time out
With a yell we sound the bell, to dispel all doubts
Shout to the mother may the father listen in
Speak truth until we seduce the evil in all men
Then, go swim back into the righteous regions
And so for these redeemed reasons
Lost languages linger And go wind
So go then with the singers and ascend.

So We May See The cosmic Dance.

Too much beauty and the beast,
To preach from a leash
and then bid peace to
the blood of a poet,
For I live life like the orphic trilogy and encounter Guernica wherever the spirit be,
Of hate that debates with me,
Though no Mont Parnasse for our demented ass,
No Gertrude’s house for intellectual bouts,
we still grasp
the sword forged by Merlin’s math,
and stab the galactic fabric,
leaving black holes like trolls that digest the tragic... systems,
but to that point we have yet to come...
Instead at the head of the fleet we beat the drum,
and leave none without the vibrations
Of the new nation,
so we taking the barricades,
Allied with them ancient ways,
For the ancients came back through us,
so with us, we wage all out war
just to keep the balance, just to beat back the battalions of the restrictors,
(you know them green rectangle fixtures)
And resurrect the culture of eternal mixture,
Yet when all comes to pass,
for peace never last,
We shall escape and wait,
to regenerate the cosmic dance.

Touching rhythms with agile feet
A pulse undying throughout us all
Aloft the floor in the sky we meet
On the one and beyond our bodies fall

Just 'cause it’s too much Annie Hall,
Manhattan and Deconstructing Harry,
To carry on this brawl with y'all in this post modern fashion.
Too much asking,
Sam to play it again,
Too much whispering about Hannah and her sisters to grin,
at this decadent descent. Yet scriptures, hermeneutically hint at,
such 'hinderers' inducing a birth,
so reproduce the search,
for ascendant deliverance through this and into that time
that bares no resemblance
to this Godless promise of contentment,
for all things ancient and sacred
Alhough even the meaning of such words now draws a blank.
For all we want is celebrity and more withdrawls from the bank,
and oh me thinks of rank,
For our eyes dine and devour wine as flesh the shank,
so cut clean from all supreme
spiritual services,
we sit nervous with, regards of the
here now and the after,
Indulging in chapter of chatter about shit that don’t matter.
